Diamonds are a girl’s best friend.
Lauren Sánchez flaunted her massive engagement ring during a night out in Cannes, France, with her new fiancé, Jeff Bezos.
The sparkler is estimated to be 20 carats and costs roughly $2.5 million.
The entertainment reporter, 53, flashed the ring while on a dinner date Monday night at La Petite Maison with the billionaire Amazon founder, 59, as well as his sister, Christina Bezos, and her husband, Steve Poore, before heading back to Jeff’s $500 million yacht.
The soon-to-be spouses have been hitting parties at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival while staying on the businessman’s massive boat, which has a mermaid resembling Sanchez adorning its prow.
During their dinner, the foursome likely toasted to the engagement, which made headlines just hours prior, with some bubbly — and not the cheap kind.
Pvnew broke the news that Jeff recently popped the question to his girlfriend after nearly five years of dating, during which they have been practically joined at the hip and not shy about displaying PDA.
The couple shared the news with others at a Vanity Fair party over the weekend.
“They were telling everyone they were engaged; they were so excited. They are completely in love,” one insider told us, while another added that the two acted like horny teenagers.
“They were all over each other. I mean, they’re always affectionate, but they could not keep their hands off each other,” the second spy shared.
Jeff and Sanchez were first publicly linked in January 2019, the same month he announced his divorce from Mackenzie Scott after 25 years of marriage. The exes share four children: three sons and a daughter.
The former “Extra” anchor, for her part, separated from Hollywood talent agent Patrick Whitesell sometime in 2018 before finalizing their divorce in October 2019. They share two kids together, and Sanchez also has a son with former NFL player Tony Gonzalez.
Jeff and Sanchez infamously were forced to go public with their romance after someone threatened to release intimate photos of the pair.
The former “So You Think You Can Dance” host raved about her then-boyfriend in a birthday post earlier this year.
“Happy birthday to the man of my dreams, who lights up my world with his laughter and kind heart,” she wrote on Instagram.
“You have shown me that no great love is not bravely fought for. Thank you for always being by my side and for being the most loving and supportive partner.”
