She clearly knows how to get people talking.
Julia Fox rocked yet another statement-making outfit on the red carpet yesterday, wearing a completely see-through top and bubble-like skirt to the Art of Elysium 25th anniversary party in Cannes yesterday.
The “Uncut Gems” actress, 33, sported a structural corset top by Cameron Hancock that looked like it was made from a piece of glass, with the bold creation being held up by a clear piece of string, freeing the nipple.
She paired it with a dramatic bubble skirt by up-and-coming designer S.Sang Studio, with recent Parsons School of Design alum Liwen Sang telling Pvnew Style that the piece was part of her 2023 graduate collection.
The white skirt — which the designer noted in an Instagram post was inspired by what she considers “the safest place in the world – the bed and the quilt” — featured a long train under its puffy top layer, perfect for making a head-turning entrance on the red carpet.
Fox added plenty of bling in the form of Marli New York diamonds, including the label’s $35,000 collar necklace and sparkling drop earrings ($9,000) along with a coordinating ring and bracelet.
The mom of one wore her brunette hair in an elegant updo, choosing uncharacteristically minimal eye makeup to let her bold lipstick shine.
This is the second time in recent weeks the actress freed the nipple in a clear top, with the runway model wearing a condom-covered tube top while out in Los Angeles earlier this month.
Of course, Fox is known for donning many a wild look on the red carpet (and the streets), like a top made entirely from neckties or the multiple bold outfits she wore to New York Fashion Week in February.
As for her Cannes ensemble, we think it’s a clear red carpet winner.
