The new Amazon Prime Video series “Citadel,” starring Meghan Markle’s good friend Priyanka Chopra, reportedly made a dig at the Duchess of Sussex’s sister-in-law and rival Kate Middleton.
In the series’ third episode, Chopra, who plays espionage agent Nadia Sinh, provides another character instructions via an earpiece, according to the Daily Mail.
During a meeting with a crime boss, the actress reportedly instructs the other character to say, “The chief of armed forces? You might as well have asked me how to get between the legs of the Duchess of Cambridge!”
Middleton was named the Princess of Wales after Queen Elizabeth II died in September, but she likely still held the title of the Duchess of Cambridge when “Citadel” Season 1 was shot.
A rep for Amazon Prime Video could not immediately be reached for comment on the mention. Pvnew has also reached out to Chopra’s publicist for comment.
However, it’s evident that the “Quantico” alum was aware that the raunchy remark about Middleton was in the script, as she was reportedly in the scene in which it was uttered.
Chopra, 40, has been close friends with Markle, 41, for years and even attended the “Suits” alum’s royal wedding to Prince Harry in 2018.
Markle has alleged that Middleton, 41, made her cry leading up to famous nuptials.
“Everyone in the institution knew it wasn’t true,” the duchess shared during an explosive sit-down with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021.
Previous reports claimed Middleton was the one who broke down in tears , but Markle clarified that the “reverse” happened due to a tiff over flower-girl dresses.
Four months after the Archewell co-founder’s revelation, Chopra sat right behind Middleton and Prince William at Wimbledon and seemed to ignore the pair.
The Bollywood star was spotted in video from the tennis tournament avoiding eye contact with the royals as they took their seats right in front of her.
Markle and Middleton’s relationship does not seem to have improved at all in recent years.
The Duchess of Sussex skipped out on King Charles III to “protect her peace” after the Princess of Wales reportedly told her to “sit at the back” if she attended the grand event.

Meanwhile, the public appears divided over which side to support.
Disney appeared to make their allegiance known when it was uncovered that their new “Little Mermaid” film seemingly contains a diss about Middleton.
A reviewer told Pvnew exclusively that the movie draws several comparisons between Markle and the lead character Ariel, who is black in this adaptation, and Harry, 38, and Prince Eric, who are both white.
In one scene, Ariel, who has sacrificed her voice in order to meet Eric, can’t speak and so he tries to guess her name.
The reviewer noted to us, “His first guess is Diana. His second guess is Catherine, but after [Ariel gives a disgusted] reaction, he [concludes] ‘OK, definitely not Catherine.’”
