Nick Cannon recently revealed that he likely spends the “most time” with his 8-month-old daughter, Onyx, out of all 12 of his children.
“I’m with her, at least, three times a week, for the full day,” the “Masked Singer” host, 42, shared on “The Jason Lee Podcast” last week.
“But I don’t put that out there in the media, social media [because] it’s not for them.”
Cannon, who shares the baby girl with LaNisha Cole, said he and the former “Price Is Right” model, 41, “have a super strong understanding” and their “co-parenting operation is so solid.”
“If you see me on Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays, my daughter [Onyx] is right next to me –whether I’m on set,” the “Wild ‘N Out” host added.
Cannon noted that he has a nursery in his office to allow him to carry out his fatherly duties while he’s at work.
“I’m literally gonna leave here to make sure that I can spend the most time with her,” he continued.
Cannon said being with onyx does not conflict with the amount of time he spends with his other children since most are either still in school or are “babies.”
However, the former “America’s Got Talent” host said he’s able to see onyx so often because Cole gives him “the respect” to allow him to have their child the same amount of time that she does.
Though Cannon has a good relationship with the model now, the two seemed to have drama recently when the comedian forgot to mention onyx after being asked to name all 12 of his kids.
“You know, I did,” Cannon said on “The Howard Stern Show” in April, admitting his mistake. “You threw me off because I was going in order!”
Howard Stern then quipped, “Poor Onyx,” to which Cannon replied that his accidental omission would “create a problem,” as he is “in trouble” with the mothers of his children every day.
Cole, who had previously been critical of her baby’s daddy’s parenting, then subtly shaded Cannon on social media, sharing a series of photos of their sweet infant.
“My whole world … the most beautiful little girl,” she captioned the pics. “I will do everything I can every single day to make sure she knows how special she is and how much I love and adore her.”
Cole concluded her cryptic message, writing, “I pray every day for strength, guidance, and peace. Regardless of where I’m at on my path, I know that God’s got me. And I’ve got Onyx.”
Cannon fathered his 12 kids with six different women.
He first became a father in 2011, when he welcomed twins Monroe and Moroccan, now 12, with his ex-wife, Mariah Carey.
Cannon later welcomed sons Golden, 6, and Rise, 7 months, and daughter Powerful, 2, with ex Brittany Bell; twin boys Zion and Zillion, both 1, and daughter Beautiful, 6 months, with Abby De La Rosa; son Legendary, 10 months, with “Selling Sunset” star Bre Tiesi; and daughter Halo, 5 months, with Alyssa Scott.
The Nickelodeon alum and Scott also shared son Zen, who sadly passed away from brain cancer in December 2021. He was just 5 months old.
