They’re so golden.
Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos time-hopped a few decades — and gave a shout-out to another ABC hit — for their fan-favorite Halloween episode, airing Tuesday, with People sharing a preview of their “Golden Bachelor” costumes.
Ripa, 53, and Consuelos, 52, donned gray wigs and tropical ‘fits as they filmed a skit called “The Golden Bachelor in Paradise” for their Halloween special, with the magazine publishing some exclusive behind-the-scenes pic of the pre-recorded comedy sketch.
The longtime “Live” host rocked a tousled short gray wig in the pics, wearing a colorful seaweed-print Lilly Pulitzer kaftan ($198) and long pearl necklaces as she posed next to her husband in one snapshot.
The “All My Children” star — who took over Ryan Seacrest’s co-host spot on the talk show this spring — wore a bright blue Hawaiian shirt and khaki shorts, grimacing at the camera as his wife licks his face at a beach-front bar in another hilarious photo.
According to People, the skit shows Ripa and Consuelos taking part in a mashup of reality dating shows “Bachelor in Paradise” and “The Golden Bachelor” on a tropical island while, unsurprisingly, antics ensue.
“Live” gave fans a preview of their costumes in an October 19 YouTube video, showing the husband-and-wife team sitting in makeup chairs as they had their wigs and facial prosthetics applied.
Along with their “Golden Bachelor” looks, the episode will include “a whopping 50 elaborate costumes,” per People, with 2023 marking Consuelos’ “Live” Halloween debut.
Aside from their holiday special, the celeb couple has been keeping busy with some other spooky festivities, attending Bette Midler’s Halloween party on Friday in Day of the Dead-inspired looks.
Ripa chose a colorful maxi skirt with rows of rainbow-colored ruffles, pairing it with a black leather bustier and sheer turtleneck along with goulish makeup.
She accessorized with a red rose crown featuring gold spikes and wore her hair in two long braids while Consuelos — who recently joked that he and his wife “can’t help” being “sexy” — wore a black bullfighter suit trimmed with gold flowers, matching with his wife by donning white skeleton face paint.
As for their stint in “Paradise,” tune in Tuesday for the full “Golden” reveal.
