He can’t “Shake It Off.”
Joe Alwyn reportedly “feels slighted and is distraught” over his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift’s “budding romance” with Matty Healy.
A source told DailyMail Thursday that the actor is upset because he put his “trust” in the “Anti-Hero” singer when she told him that she and the 1975 frontman were just “friends” as they worked together on her album “Midnights,” which was released in October 2022.
“Joe was aware that Taylor and Matt were making music together and collaborating,” the insider said.
“She told him that they had become friends, and he trusted her,” they continued before stressing that there was no “overlap” in the two relationships.
Since Alwyn and Swift’s breakup, the “Conversations with Friends” star has been “doing his best to keep busy and focus on himself,” according to the source.
Alwyn, 32, and the Grammy winner, 33, dated for six years, with Pvnew confirming the news of their split in April.
“It wasn’t dramatic,” a source told us at the time. “[The relationship] just ran its course.”
Less than a month later, Swift was romantically linked to Healy, whom she has known since 2014.
Sources claimed to the Sun earlier this month that the musical pair were already “madly in love” — despite only dating for a few weeks.
“It’s super-early days, but it feels right,” the insider said. “They first dated, very briefly, almost 10 years ago, but the timings just didn’t work out.”
Unlike Alwyn and Swift’s relationship, which was very private, Healy, 34, and the “Bad Blood” singer already have been photographed together several times.
The “Oh Caroline” crooner was seen in the audience at multiple shows on Swift’s Eras Tour, and they were spotted packing on the PDA at Casa Cipriani in New York City.
More recently, Healy and Swift were photographed leaving a recording studio together.
