Sandra Bullock was photographed for the first time since the death of her longtime partner, Bryan Randall, in August.
The “Blind Side” actress was spotted walking alongside her daughter, Laila, and her bodyguard, Peter Weireter, in Los Angeles on Thursday.
The mother-daughter duo appeared to be in calm spirits and held hands throughout the outing.
At one point, Bullock stopped to chat with Laila before bending down and giving her a kiss on the cheek.
The “Speed” star kept her look casual chic in a white crewneck T-shirt, black slacks, black belt, tan coat, and white sneakers.
She wore minimal makeup and accessorized her look with a crossbody black pouch, black glasses, gold earrings, and a gold necklace.
Meanwhile, Laila, 11, matched her mom’s laid-back look in a two-piece blue velour sweatsuit with light blue and white sneakers.
Bullock, 59, has not been publicly spotted since her longtime partner, Bryan Randall, died following a secret three-year battle with ALS in August. He was 57.
“Bryan chose early to keep his journey with ALS private and those of us who cared for him did our best to honor his request,” his family shared in a statement with Pvnew on Aug. 7.
“We are immensely grateful to the tireless doctors who navigated the landscape of this illness with us and to the astounding nurses who became our roommates, often sacrificing their own families to be with ours,” they continued.
Bullock has yet to address the tragic passing, but a source told People three weeks after his death that she is “grateful” for the support.
“It was very important to her that when she and his family made the initial statement of Bryan’s passing, those who were on this journey with her and Bryan, from the beginning, were recognized — with the Healey Center at Mass General leading the way,” an insider said.
They added that Bullock has “seen the incredible outpouring of support toward ALS research since Bryan’s passing,” referring to ALS donations spiking 500 percent after his death.
“She is so grateful to all those who have donated and is happy that out of something so heartbreaking came something so positive for others,” the source shared.
The “Miss Congeniality” actress’ sister, Gesine Bullock-Prado, gushed about how her sister was an “amazing” caretaker who “assembled” a team to take care of him over the years.
Sources exclusively told Pvnew at the time that Bullock even put her Hollywood career on pause to help him.
Bullock, who adopted Laila and son Louis, met Randall in January 2015 when he photographed her son’s birthday party.
They made their red carpet debut two months later and have been photographed several times since.
Randall helped Bullock raise her two children in addition to co-parenting his grown daughter, Skylar, from a previous relationship.
