Double trouble for Kailyn Lowry and Elijah Scott!
The “Teen Mom 2” alum confirmed she is pregnant with twins on her “Barely Famous” podcast Friday, nearly one year after secretly welcoming baby No. 5.
“This is my … sixth pregnancy,” Lowry told guest Allison Kuch. “Like, six and seven for me.”
The 31-year-old noted that she conceived just before a vacation in Thailand, coming home from the trip with “permanent souvenirs.”
The former MTV personality became a mom in 2010 when she gave birth to son Isaac, now 13, with then-boyfriend Jo Rivera.
Lowry has since welcomed son Lincoln, 9, with Javi Marroquin, as well as sons Lux, 6, and Creed, 3, with Chris Lopez, in 2013, 2017 and 2020, respectively.
When speculation swirled in 2022, however, that the “16 and Pregnant” alum had another baby on the way, she stayed silent about the rumors — even when the US Sun reported the little one arrived that November.
In July of the following year, Lowry made headlines for subtly confirming the news in a “Baby Mamas No Drama” podcast episode.
The former reality star told guest Aurora Culpo that she watched a specific episode of her family’s “The Culpo Sisters” show on TLC while “in the hospital having one of [her] kids.”
Notably, the TLC series premiered in November 2022.
Earlier this month, Lowry revealed the name and sex of her fifth child, son Rio, in an interview with People.
“I wanted to be able to tell my own story on my own terms,” she said of her secrecy. “I kind of feel like my hands are tied. People are announcing it for me and so, at this point, I might as well just talk about it.”
At the time, Lowry did not address the pregnancy rumors that ramped up in September after displaying her baby bump in a black tank and bike shorts.
While the influencer has kept her relationship with Scott out of the spotlight, she called him the “love of [her] life” while speaking to her “Coffee Convos” podcast co-host, Lindsie Chrisley, last year.
“They say when you know, you just know, and that’s how I feel,” she said at the time. “I feel like I’ve known him for a lifetime.”
