Like mother, like daughter!
Uma Thurman and look-alike daughter, Maya Hawke, twinned in coordinating all-black ensembles during a rare red-carpet appearance for Room To Grow’s 25th Anniversary Gala in New York Wednesday night.
Thurman — who co-chaired the gala — donned a long black gown that featured a high slit in the front and kept warm with a caped jacket. She accessorized her look with a sparkling diamond brooch fastened on her left chest, dangling diamond earrings and a plain black clutch.
Her blonde locks were secured in a slicked-back ponytail and she completed the look with black pointed-toe heels.
Meanwhile, 25-year-old Hawke, whose father is actor Ethan Hawke, looked smart in a two-piece set that featured a collarless jacket with gold buttons and roomy slacks.
The “Stranger Things” star matched her mom with her outfit details, pairing it with black pointed-toe heels and styling her hair in a sleek bun.
The rising star added a Prada purse to her look and wore a tiny gold chain necklace.
The mother-daughter duo looked like sisters as they smiled from ear to ear on the gala’s blue carpet.
They also joked around as they arrived, with Maya taking her own personal snapshots of her mom as the pros flashed away snapping their own photos.
Thurman, 53, gushed about her and Maya’s tight relationship while chatting with People at the event.
“What isn’t a mother-daughter bond?” she asked.
“Good communication. That is a big challenge, to make sure we keep communication healthy, strong, and open with your family.”
While the “Pulp Fiction” actress helped put on the gala for Room to Grow (and has been involved with the organization since giving birth to her daughter 25 years ago), Maya is on the board of the philanthropic organization, according to People.
“I have a learning disability and I didn’t do so well in school and was slow to read. So being read to changed my ability to comprehend language and changed my life,” she explained.
“I really hope that every child gets that opportunity. And if Room to Grow can help in any way, I’m honored to be part of it.”
Maya is the eldest of two children shared by her parents, as she has a 21-year-old brother named Levon.
Thurman and Ethan were married between 1998 and 2005.
Ethan admitted he had “no business taking vows that would last more than two weeks” when reflecting on their union in a 2013 interview with Elle.
He is now married to Ryan Hawke, with whom he shares two children. Thurman welcomed another daughter in 2012 with her former fiancé, Arpad Busson.
