We’re royally excited to see this duo.
George Clooney was joined by his wife, Amal, for last night’s Prince’s Trust and TJMaxx & Homesense Awards in London, with the scarcely seen couple walking the red carpet in support of King Charles III’s charity.
The human rights attorney, 45, wore a beige linen jumpsuit for the event, which honored the achievements of young people who have taken part in the Prince’s Trust programs across the UK.
She added a black belt to her wide-legged outfit, which featured sharp pleats on the front of each leg.
Amal wore her brown hair in soft waves and sported a bright red lip for their date night, adding a pair of dangling silver earrings and a beige clutch.
Her mother, Baria Alamuddin, also attended the event with the Clooneys, coordinating with her daughter in a beige ensemble.
Meanwhile, the “Ocean’s Eleven” actor sported a sharp gray suit with a monochromatic dress shirt, also rocking a pair of sunglasses.
Mr. and Mrs. Clooney are no stranger to a good cause; they co-founded the Clooney Foundation for Justice together.
They’re also not unfamiliar with a royal event, having attended Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding in 2018 (and even serving up shots of tequila at the reception).
The couple also dined with the King — then known as the Prince of Wales — at a glittering Buckingham Palace event to honor the Prince’s Trust in 2019.
Amal’s jumpsuit is a departure from the usual glittering gowns she wears during her infrequent red carpet appearances, like the caped ensemble she wore to the Kennedy Center Honors in December or the elaborate flapper-style dress she wore to the 2022 Albie Awards.
However, it’s not the first time she’s sported a bold jumpsuit; the superstar barrister rocked a red one-piece to Meghan Markle’s NYC baby shower in 2019 and even wore a white belted jumpsuit to her 2014 civil wedding ceremony with the “Up in the Air” actor.
Perhaps we’ll see some more fun looks from Amal as we jump into summer.
