Ja Rule told Pvnew his nemesis 50 Cent is a “clown” and a “troll” in their latest war of words over decades of feuding.

Last month, Rule appeared at the 2023 BMI R&B/Hip Hop Awards to perform his song “One Of Us,” from his biblically titled album “Rule 3:36.”

Rule appeared on the stage tied to a wooden column, and his longtime rival, 50 Cent, posted on social media of the scene: “Look at this s–t head, is he supposed to be Jesus. WTF you can’t make this s–t up. LOL so stupid!”

Rule told us at the recent Pencils of Promise gala, “I was not on the cross. I was actually on a stake, which is what [Jehovah’s Witnesses] actually believe Jesus died on. A stake versus a cross.”

He added of the symbolism, “I feel like I’ve sacrificed a lot in this industry. Not nothing in the realm of Jesus Christ, don’t get me wrong.” He also said of any controversy: “What people fail to realize is they act like Jesus was the only one up there, and they were many men being crucified at that moment, too… They just so happen to be criminals. Maybe I am not mocking Jesus, maybe I am one of the criminals.”

The “Mesmerized” artist — who said earlier this year he could possibly bury the hatchet with his fellow Queens rapper — told us of 50 Cent’s latest remarks, “I do not feel like I need to explain myself.”

But he added in, “he is just a clown, a troll.”

Over the years, the rivalry between Ja Rule and 50 Cent has included diss tracks, social media snark, insults in interviews and much more. The animosity stretches all the way back to 1999.

At the gala, Rule donated $50,000 to build a school in Guatemala, and honorees also included Debra Messing and rap legend Doug E. Fresh.

Pencils of Promise helps kids gain access to quality education globally, and the event raised $1.2 million.
