Maria Shriver was on grandma duty this Mother’s Day!
The journalist sweetly celebrated on Sunday with Katherine Schwarzenegger, Chris Pratt and their two daughters.
The 67-year-old was photographed in a purple dress and matching jacket over the weekend as she played with Lyla, 2, and Eloise, 11 months, outside of church.
Schwarzenegger, 33, and Pratt, 43, both wore blue to the Los Angeles outing, which was followed by a family lunch.
The self-help author’s siblings, Christina Schwarzenegger, Patrick Schwarzenegger and Christopher Schwarzenegger, were also in attendance.
Katherine took to Instagram that same day to honor Shriver with throwback pictures.
“The best mama and mama g in the universe,” Schwarzenegger captioned the slideshow. “I have felt loved, cared for and nurtured every single second by you. What a gift from God! And don’t I know it!”
She continued, “I’m in awe of you always. You do it all for us kids, your grandkids and everyone else you mother. To know you is to be mothered by you. I want to be exactly like you.”
Katherine concluded by calling Shriver a “role model in everything, especially when it comes to being a mother.”
She became a mom in August 2020 when Lyla arrived, followed by Eloise in May 2022.
Last week, Katherine celebrated Mother’s Day “a little bit early” by honoring her mom with a “a beautiful, feminine and flattering” dress she designed for Cleobella — and named after Shriver.
The Emmy winner posed proudly in the purple-and-white gown at the time, matching both of her daughters in an Instagram post.
“This was such a beautiful way to celebrate motherhood, sisterhood, female friendship, and the bond we all have,” Shriver gushed of their twinning ensembles.
