Take a shot for him.
Drake celebrated his 37th birthday with close pals and lots of booze at the newly opened Miami hotspot Casadonna on Monday night.
“Drake was seen taking tequila shots for the majority of the night,” an insider exclusively tells Pvnew on Tuesday of the “very” private soirée.
We hear “Breaking Bad” stars Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston were on hand serving up shots of their Dos Hombres Mezcal behind the bar for the rapper and his OVO entourage.
While the source said that there were “plenty of women trying to get one-on-one time” with Drake, he was “surrounded by all of his OVO friends and security” and had a night with the boys.
“Drake’s friends and OVO crew toasted and thanked him for making them all ‘Rich Baby Daddies,'” the insider added, referring to the title of Drake’s new single with Sexxy Redd and SZA.
We’re told Drake rolled up in an all-black ensemble and was making jokes and having the best time with his friends throughout the evening.
The party venue is an Italian-inspired restaurant and bar launched by David Grutman’s Groot Hospitality and Noah Tepperberg and Jason Strauss’ Tao Group Hospitality.
Casadonna opened its doors on Saturday with a star-studded party where guests included David and Victoria Beckham, Serena Williams, Camila Cabello, Quavo, Liza Hochstien, Zac Effron, DJ Khaled, Braxton Berrios and more.
Champagne Papi’s birthday festivities came shortly after he released his album, “For All The Dogs,” on Oct. 6.
He subsequently announced that he would be stepping back from music to focus on his mental health.
“I probably won’t make music for a little bit,” the “Degrassi” alum said on “Table for One” on SiriusXM’s Sound 42.
He added, “I’m gonna be real with you: I need to focus on my health, first and foremost. … Nothing crazy, but just, like, you know, I want people to be healthy in life.”
Drake also said that he has been struggling with stomach problems “for years” and needs to heal.
“I need to focus on my health, and I need to get right, and I’m going to do that,” he said.
“So, I’ma lock the door in the studio for a little bit. I don’t even know what a little bit is,” he continued, before noting that his music hiatus may just last a year.
Drake faced backlash for seemingly dissing his ex-girlfriend Rihanna in his new track, “Fear of Heights.”
He briefly dated the “Diamonds” singer in 2016, but they broke up after just two months after they couldn’t make their schedules work.
Rihanna has since welcomed two children with partner A$AP Rocky.
Halle Berry also slammed Drake for wanting to use her image without her permission as the album art for his song “Slime You Out.”
Despite the controversies, it seems Drake still had a great time celebrating his birthday with “All The Dogs.”
