Priyanka Chopra’s priorities have shifted since she and Nick Jonas welcomed daughter Malti.
“If I were asked to give up my career and just move countries, I would do it without question for my daughter,” the actress told Femina in an interview published Thursday.
The “Love Again” star, 40, noted that her parents, Madhu Chopra and Ashok Chopra, did the same with a Mumbai move when her career took off in her teens.
Priyanka now understands as someone who views her career “differently” with a 1-year-old at home.
“I want to go back home. On time,” she said of days on set. “I finish my job really quickly and then I’m home.”
The “Quantico” alum clarified, “That doesn’t mean I don’t love my job. That doesn’t mean I’m not going to do it with the same gusto that I did it with before.
“But, now,” she continued, “I know life is equally important.”
The former pageant queen became a mom in January 2022 when Malti arrived via surrogate, and the newborn came home from the NICU 100 days later.
While she and Jonas initially kept the little one’s face covered on social media, Malti made her debut at her dad’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony with Joe Jonas and Kevin Jonas.
Since then, Chopra has documented more of Malti’s life via Instagram, from Easter celebrations to toy store trips.
The Miss World 2000 gushed to Andy Cohen about her child on “Watch What Happens Live” Thursday night, praising her “happiest, most joyous” personality.
“She is, like, magical,” the “White Tiger” star said. “She doesn’t jet lag. She sleeps whenever.”
Chopra also told the audience about Jonas sliding into her DMs when they started dating in 2018 — a story she shared on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast earlier this week.
“Literally his message was: ‘I have been told we should meet,'” she recalled in Wednesday’s episode. “How cocky? So sexy.”
