Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann were once Bravo’s “it” couple.
They met and married on television, got their own spinoff show and publicly documented all the ups and downs of their big and blended family.
But as their financial security began breaking down, so, too, did their seemingly unbreakable bond.
Here is the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum and the retired NFL star’s complete relationship timeline:
May 2010: They meet for the first time
Zolciak met Biermann, who is seven years her junior, for the first time at the Dancing Stars of Atlanta charity event in May 2010 while the then-Atlanta Falcons player was competing with her “RHOA” co-star Shereé Whitfield.
After Zolciak complimented Biermann’s “ass,” the two exchanged numbers and became inseparable.
May 2011: Kroy “KJ” Jr. is born
Zolciak and Biermann’s first child together, Kroy “KJ” Jr., was born in May 2011.
Over the years, Zolciak has shared rare updates on her eldest son, including his choking scares.
“I had nightmares for weeks, still can’t talk about it without crying and I will never forget it,” she wrote via Instagram in 2020. “I can still see his face and the fear in his eyes.”
October 2011: They announce their engagement
Zolciak revealed in October 2011 that Biermann had proposed, tweeting at the time, “I am happy [to] announce that YES @biermann71 and I are engaged! I’m on a cloud and so blessed!!”
November 2011: They tie the knot
The former Bravolebrity and the athlete tied the knot in a lavish ceremony featured on Season 1 of their reality show, then titled “Don’t Be Tardy for the Wedding.”
“Thank u everyone 4 your early congrats and best wishes!!! @Kimzolciak has made me the happiest man alive!!! 11.11.11.” Biermann gushed on their special day, to which Zolciak replied, “I love u.”
April 2012: ‘Don’t Be Tardy’ premieres
Zolciak and Biermann’s family’s reality show, “Don’t Be Tardy,” premiered on Bravo in April 2012.
The series marked the first spinoff of “RHOA,” on which Zolciak was an original cast member.
August 2012: Kash makes his arrival
KJ became a big brother in August 2012 when Kash made his arrival.
“@kimzolciak and I welcomed our 2nd son Kash Kade, Mommy and baby are doing great!” Biermann tweeted at the time.
The little one had reconstructive facial surgery in November 2020, five years after he was mauled by their family dog Sinn and left nearly blind by a scratch near his left eye.
“I’ve never prayed so hard, or been so scared in my life,” Zolciak wrote via Instagram after the April 2017 attack.
July 2013: Biermann legally adopts Zolciak’s daughters
Biermann filed to adopt Zolciak’s two daughters from previous relationships — Brielle and Ariana — shortly after they tied the knot.
Brielle and Ariana legally changed their last names to Biermann in July 2013 when the adoption became final.
August 2013: Zolciak announces she’s pregnant again
In August 2013, Zolciak announced she was pregnant with twins.
November 2013: The pair welcomes twins Kaia and Kane
Zolciak and Biermann welcomed their fraternal twins, Kaia and Kane, in November 2013.
“Guess what?!!! The TWINS have arrived!” Zolciak announced via Instagram. “We welcomed first a baby GIRL and second a handsome little BOY. They are both healthy, and Kroy and I are so thankful!!”
In September 2018, Zolciak was accused of Photoshopping her youngest daughter’s appearance to make her backside look larger and her nose smaller.
She seemingly denied the claim, tweeting at the time, “I think I’ve heard it all now!!”
May 2021: ‘Don’t Be Tardy’ gets canceled
Bravo canceled “Don’t Be Tardy” in May 2021 after eight seasons.
The final season aired in December 2020 and followed the family as they traveled in an RV across the country before the COVID-19 pandemic hit.
February 2023: Financial problems surface
In February 2023, the couple’s financial problems surfaced, including the threat of foreclosure on their Milton, Ga., mansion and reports that they owed the IRS over $1 million in unpaid taxes.
May 2023: Divorce 1.0
Shortly after their monetary woes made headlines, Biermann and Zolciak filed for divorce from each other in May 2023.
Biermann claimed that Zolciak’s alleged gambling addiction “financially devastated” their family, while she expressed “concerns” about the “safety” of their kids because she allegedly witnessed him smoking marijuana.
The petitions came immediately after Biermann claimed to police officers that Zolciak had punched him in the back of the head during a domestic dispute concerning marital property.
June 2023: Biermann gets sued
BMW Financial Services filed a lawsuit against Biermann in June 2023, claiming he stopped making payments on his $400,000 Rolls-Royce.
At the time, his attorney put the blame on Zolciak, saying in part, “This is the fallout when folks find themselves spending way beyond their means. Kroy retired and no longer receives that NFL salary. … I don’t think anyone told Kim.”
The lawyer added, “Kim continues to spend money on online gambling, wine and things that are not necessities but luxuries. Well, now they have one less luxury item.”
July 2023: Back together
The duo filed to dismiss their respective divorce petitions in July 2023 shortly after they were photographed taking their brood to a church service.
August 2023: Divorce 2.0 and another lawsuit
Biermann rushed back to court in August 2023 to file for divorce from Zolciak — again.
He requested sole physical and legal custody of their four minor children.
Zolciak, for her part, wanted the case dismissed because she and Biermann had had “marital sexual relations on multiple occasions.”
Later that month, she was sued by Saks/Capital One for more than $150,000 in unpaid credit card fees.
October 2023: Zolciak agrees to end their marriage — again
In October 2023, after cops paid another visit to the Biermann-Zolciak home over another domestic dispute, Zolciak agreed that their union was “irretrievably broken with no hope of reconciliation.”
She asked for primary physical and joint legal custody of their kids.
That same month, the twosome listed their home for sale to the tune of $6 million.
