Joe Jonas was in high spirits at the US Grand Prix after reaching a temporary custody agreement with estranged wife Sophie Turner.
The Jonas Brothers singer, 34, made a surprise appearance at the Formula 1 race in Austin, Texas, Sunday, where he was seen chatting with pals on the starting grid, an insider tells Pvnew.
Jonas was joined by DNCE drummer Jack Lawless and several female friends while posing for photos in front of Lewis Hamilton’s car.
The “Sucker” hitmaker, who cut a casual figure in a U2 tee, cream pants and black loafers, was also seen smiling and laughing with Gayle King and track and field sprinter Sha’Carri Richardson.
The former Disney Channel star previously attended the 2023 Miami Grand Prix in May with his brothers Nick and Kevin, where the trio spent time speaking to drivers from multiple teams.
This time, we’re told he was all smiles throughout the day at the Circuit of the Americas, less than two weeks after coming to an “amicable resolution” in his custody battle with Turner, 27, following mediation.
The “Camp Rock” alum shares daughters Willa, 3, and Delphine, 1, with the “Game of Thrones” star.
Per their agreement, the girls remained with Turner through Oct. 21, and Jonas currently has custody of the pair until Nov. 2.
The former couple will continue to hand off custody through Jan. 7, 2024, with the kids spending Thanksgiving in the States with their dad and Christmas, presumably in the UK, with their mom.
Earlier this month, Jonas and Turner agreed to settle their contentious divorce privately after the details of their messy split were reported via the media.
Jonas filed to divorce Turner in September after four years of marriage, with sources claiming that the actress’ partying played a role in the demise of their relationship.
Meanwhile, a separate insider claimed Turner was caught bad-mouthing her husband on a Ring cam, leading the musician to end their marriage.
The “Dark Phoenix” star then sued Jonas for their daughters’ “immediate return” to England.
She accused the “Burnin’ Up” singer of withholding their passports after he had agreed to raise their family in the UK.
Jonas, through his rep, clarified that he did not “abduct” their children.
