Chrissy Teigen shut down a troll’s claim that she and husband John Legend welcomed their third child, Esti, via surrogate.
After the mom of three posted a photo of the newborn on Instagram Sunday, a fan asked if she had welcomed the 3-month-old via surrogate, to which another follower replied that Teigen used a bump prosthetic “called a moonbump.”
The “Cravings” author, 37, shared an image from her C-section to her Instagram Stories, along with the words, “Extremely realistic ‘moon bump.'”
Teigen — who also shares daughter Luna, 7, and son Miles, 4, with Legend —has been open about her cesarean section in the past, telling People in March that she was initially “so excited” to be undergoing the surgical procedure.
“I was kind of excited because I’m like, ‘Yeah, I’ve done the vaginal thing twice. Let’s try this.’ I really love surgery,” she shared.
Teigen noted that she likes that she has “seen both experiences” and thinks it is “so cool” that her body is cut open and her organs and temporarily displaced.
“It really is so crazy, but I still think it’s so cool,” she told the outlet. “I’m like, ‘Oh, my God. I was laying there wide awake with my body cut open and a baby comes out.’
“Now Miles and Luna love looking at my scar and they call it the baby hole.”
The former “Lip Sync Battle” host and “All of Me” singer’s youngest baby girl — who was conceived via in vitro fertilization — was born on Jan. 13.
Legend, 44, broke the news that his family had grown to a party of five during a private concert that night.
The couple announced in last August that they were expecting a baby, nearly one year after losing their son Jack in a “life-saving abortion” during Teigen’s pregnancy.
The model began in vitro fertilization in February 2022 “to save as many eggos as [possible] … and hopefully make some strong, healthy embryos.”
Teigen initially kept her pregnancy news mum because she was “too nervous.”
Legend and his wife will celebrate their 10-year anniversary in September.
