As Formula 1 racers were burning rubber at the Miami Grand Prix over the weekend, Carbone Beach was a fave pitstop for celebs.
At the pop-up presented by American Express, spies saw billionaire Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez “cute and cuddled up,” while Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner chatted with Miami Mayor Francis Suarez.
A spy told us they spotted Venus Williams “making a beeline for the caviar bar,” while Sam Nazarian, Vito Schnabel and Harvey Spevak, were also spotted.
Miami Heat stars Jimmy Butler, Max Strus and Gabe Vincent also came by to celebrate a team win before closing the place down.
Diddy performed one night at the Carbone spot, bringing Busta Rhymes and Fabolous to entertain a packed house that included newly married couple Lukas Gaga and Chris Appleton, Mike Tyson, Lindsey Vonn and Tommy Hilfiger.
Another night, guests were treated to a surprise performance by Diana Ross.
A source tells us Ross took the stage in green sequins to belt out hits like “I’m Coming Out” to a crowd that included real estate magnate Stephen Ross, Future, Victor Cruz and the Chainsmokers Drew Taggart.
Ross’ son, Evan, was also in the house, “dancing with his group of friends right in front of the stage while his mother performed,” says the spy.
Guests who paid $3,000 for a ticket to dine at the exclusive spot were treated to seafood towers and Dom Perignon, we hear.
Lauryn Hill closed out the pop-up event, belting out hits including “Ready or Not,” “That Thing,” “Doo Wop” and “Killing Me Softly.”
A spy tells us Hill even brought her son, Josh, to the stage to perform his own rendition of her hit “Mr. Intentional” in front of a crowd that included LL Cool J, Larsa Pippen and Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz.
