Now it’s time to cry him a river.
Britney Spears admits to cheating on Justin Timberlake “one time” with dancer and choreographer Wade Robson in her bombshell new memoir.
The “Toxic” singer writes about having a brief fling with Robson, who later became famous for accusing Michael Jackson of sexual abuse, after finding out that Timberlake had been sleeping around.
“We were out one night and we went to a Spanish bar. We danced and danced. I made out with him that night,” she shares in “The Woman in Me,” which is out Oct. 24.
Spears, 41, writes that she and the “Mirrors” crooner, 42, agreed to move past the infidelity given the years that she was “loyal to Justin” and “only had eyes for him.”
In the tome, which has skyrocketed to No. 1 on the charts, the “Sometimes” singer also claims Timberlake cheated on her with “another celebrity,” whom many fans believed to be singer Nicole Appleton.
Paparazzi caught Timberlake sneaking around with Appleton, who was part of the English girl group All Saints, while heading back to his hotel in London after a night out in 2000.
An old newspaper clipping, which fans have resurfaced on social media, shows both Timberlake, then 19, and Appleton, then 25, lying low in the back seat of a car in an unsuccessful attempt to hide from photographers.
Spears reportedly doesn’t name the singer as she’s now “married with children.” Appleton shares son Gene, 22, with her ex-husband, Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher, and daughter Skipper, 3, with her current spouse, Stephen Haines.
Despite Timberlake finding himself in hot water, speculation that Spears cheated on Timberlake during their three-year relationship has swirled since the *NSYNC member released his hit track and music video “Cry Me a River” in 2003 — just one year after the pop power couple had split.
The music video sparked mass amounts of attention, as it featured a Spears look-alike model and suggested that she had been unfaithful.
Following the release, the “Gimme More” singer revealed to Rolling Stone that the “Alpha Dog” actor warned her he was releasing a “controversial” music video.
“He got what he wanted. I think it looks like such a desperate attempt, personally,” she told the magazine at the time.
“But that was a great way to sell the record. He’s smart.”
