Teddi Mellencamp is renting out her Hollywood Hills home for $35,000 per month – and has enlisted the help of BFF Kyle Richards’ estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky, and two of their daughters.
Mauricio, Farrah Brittany Aldjufrie and Alexia Umansky are all listed as the realtors in charge of the rental property via Mauricio’s real estate firm, The Agency.
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum – who moved to a $6.49 million Encino, Calif., modern farmhouse in 2020 – previously tried to sell the same property through Mauricio and Farrah for $5.995 million in August 2020.
Mellencamp and her husband, Edwin Arroyave, have since decided to give renting a try, with their five-bedroom, six-bathroom home now available for $35,000 a month.
The 4,206-square-feet home is located above the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood and offers stunning panoramic views of Los Angeles.
The future renters will be able to enjoy the view on either the outdoor grassy terrace or below on the pool and lower patio lounge.
The Agency describes the property as a “magnificent modern architectural estate” that includes an open floor plan concept with the modern kitchen flowing into an airy living and dining area.
In addition to the five bedrooms and six bathrooms, the home also includes a gym, home office, walk-in dressing room, heated spa, sports court, play area and two-car garage.
Mauricio, Farrah Brittany and Alexia Umansky are all featured as listing agents for the rental property.
It’s unclear why Mellencamp, 42, and Arroyave, 46, switched from selling to renting. Her rep did not immediately return Pvnew’s request for comment.
Mellencamp and Richards instantly became best friends when Mellencamp joined the “RHOBH” cast in 2017. Even after she got the boot in 2020, they’ve maintained their close friendship.
While it may seem like an easy choice for Mellencamp to choose her best friend’s daughters to sell the home, her decision to let Mauricio in on the property may raise eyebrows, since Richards and Mauricio have split.
The longtime couple sparked divorce speculation in the summer after 27 years of marriage. Both parties denied they are “divorcing,” but have confirmed they are indeed separated following some back and forth comments. Mellencamp has since declared that she will not be talking about her friend’s relationship.
TMZ was first to report on the listing.
