“Good Day New York” anchor Rosanna Scotto says that out of all the celebs who dine regularly at Fresco By Scotto, the one who recently left her her starstruck was not exactly a household name.
“The one person I may have stared at a little too hard at recently when he came in it was Michele Morrone,” she told Pvnew.
“You know, the guy? I saw him on ‘365 days.’ Oh yeah, I mean how could you resist him? It’s Michele Morrone,” she playfully added.
The Italian born actor, 33, played Don Massimo Torricelli in the Netflix cult erotic drama.
Scotto — who has been happily married to lawyer Louis John Ruggiero since 1986 joked of Morrone, “I give him a lot of extra attention, I give him extra cheese, a lot of salt and pepper. I am not leaving until everything is seasoned properly.”
Others who’ve been known to patronize Scotto’s famed family resto include Sylvester Stallone, Barbara Streisand, Bill Clinton, Wendy Williams, Derek Jeter and many more.
Pvnew also recently reported that the 1998 Yankees had a reunion at Midtown power eatery after the team’s annual Old-Timers’ Day.
We caught up with Scotto when she served as host and presenter at the Global Lyme Alliance’s gala at Cipriani 42nd last week, which raised over $1.6 million.
Morrone made headlines a year ago when he and Khloé Kardashian seemed to hit it off during Milan Fashion Week at Kim Kardashian’s Dolce & Gabbana “Ciao, Kim” show.
But fans’ hopes were dashed when sources told us at the time that the Milan resident and LA-based reality star Khloé were not dating, but just snapped a pic together.
A source told us that Morrone thought Khloé was “very nice,” but that was as far as it went. In a seemingly flirty photo, he was seen wrapping his arm around Khloé’s waist.
Scotto told us of entertaining VIPs: “We do this every single night. We make sure the place is spotless, and the food is the most delicious food you have ever eaten. But we will think of some fun things to do. Like when Sly Stallone comes in we know we are going to play some Sly music and get people up and dancing. Just like when Barry Manalo came in. We want people to feel at home and yet we don’t want to put them too much in the spotlight.”
