He’s about to have a “Cruel Summer.”
Joe Alwyn looked disheveled as he was spotted for the first time since the news of his breakup from Taylor Swift.
The “Conversations with Friends” star was photographed popping out of a hotel in London on Thursday as he talked on his phone.
He wore a fuzzy black zippered jumper, baggy blue jeans and tan work boots while carrying a camel-colored cardigan.
The outing comes nearly two weeks after Pvnew confirmed that Swift, 33, and Alwyn, 32, ended their six-year relationship on good terms.
“It wasn’t dramatic,” a source told us on April 8, adding that the pair’s relationship “just ran its course.”
The former couple previously raised suspicion that their romance was on the rocks when fans noticed that the English actor had not been spotted supporting the “Anti-Hero” singer on her blockbuster Eras Tour, which launched on March 17.
However, a source told People at the time that Alwyn would “travel with [Swift] when he can.”
The insider also claimed that the “Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk” star was “super supportive of her career.”
Swift and Alwyn have yet to speak publicly about their split, but the Grammy-winning artist recently signaled she was doing all right when she gave a thumbs-up to a fan holding a “You OK?” sign at one of her concerts.
The now-exes first crossed paths at the 2016 Met Gala and secretly started dating a few months later, but it wasn’t until the following year that their relationship made headlines.
Swift and Alwyn repeatedly sparked engagement rumors during their relationship; however, they managed to keep their love life extremely private. Some Swifties even believed the stars had quietly tied the knot, though our sources denied the speculation.
In 2022, the “Favourite” star brushed aside chatter that he had proposed to the “All Too Well” songstress — but admitted he wouldn’t confirm the news even if he did.
“I mean, the truth is, if the answer was yes, I wouldn’t say, and if the answer was no, I wouldn’t say,” he told WSJ. Magazine at the time.
“If I had a pound for every time I think I’ve been told I’ve been engaged, then I’d have a lot of pound coins.”
Swift worked with Alwyn on her music while they dated. He co-write a few songs on her 2020 album “Folklore” under the pseudonym William Bowery and also contributed to its sister album, “Evermore.”
Swift famously thanked Alwyn during her 2021 Grammys acceptance speech, describing him as “the first person that I play every single song that I write.”
“I had the best time writing songs with you in quarantine,” she added.
But over the years, Swift rarely spoke openly about their relationship, explaining in her 2020 “Miss Americana” documentary, “We decided together we wanted our relationship to be private.”
Swift has a roster of other famous exes including Joe Jonas, Jake Gyllenhaal, John Mayer, Harry Styles, Calvin Harris and Tom Hiddleston.
