CBS News‘ venerable “48 Hours” is getting another correspondent to help give its fans a regular helping of true-crime investigation.

Anne-Marie Green, a longtime anchor of CBS News’ early-morning broadcast and, most recently, its live-streaming service, has been named a correspondent on the Saturday-night mainstay. She will join the show’s other correspondents, who include Peter Van Sant, Erin Moriarty and Natalie Morales.

“Anne-Marie is already a big part of the ’48 Hours’ ‘family – she’s the host of our successful ‘Post Mortem’ podcast, and has worked with us as a ’48 Hours’ contributor. In fact, Anne-Marie’s episode, ‘The Death of an Officer’s Wife,’ was one of the top-rated shows of the last two seasons,” said Judy Tygard, the executive producer of “48 Hours,” in a memo to staffers that was reviewed by PvNew. She added: “For those of you who have not yet had the pleasure of working with Anne-Marie, she’s an excellent interviewer, prepares for every case as if she were trying it in court, and is a true team player.”Anne-Marie Green Joins CBS News’ ’48 Hours’
