The Merc With a Mouth can speak again.
After a four-month suspension due to the SAG-AFTRA strike, “Deadpool 3” will head back into production before Thanksgiving, a source close to the production has confirmed to PvNew.
The Marvel Studios project reunites Ryan Reynolds both with his “Free Guy” and “The Adam Project” director Shawn Levy, and with actor Hugh Jackman, who will reprise his performance as Wolverine for the 10th time. (Reynolds originated the role of Wade Wilson, aka Deadpool, in 2009’s “X-Men Origins: Wolverine,” and then rebooted the character with 2016’s “Deadpool.”)
The project is one of the most high profile movies that had to suspend filming due to the strike, placing its scheduled release on May 3, 2024, into question. (Reynolds posted to social media on Nov. 9 that the film is coming “Summer 2024.”)
