CAA has signed Haley Kalil, a scientist turned Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue model, comedic content creator and actor.
The Minnesota native attended St. Cloud State University where she graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in medical biology and psychology and a minor in chemistry. After competing in pageants as a teen and while in college, she was one of the two winners of Sports Illustrated’s first Swim Search open casting call in 2018 and appeared in the magazine’s Swimsuit Issue editions from 2018-2021.
Per CAA, Kalil’s “down-to-earth personality, comedic skits and relatability” have attracted more than 14 million followers across her social media accounts. That includes 7 million on TikTok, 4.4 million on YouTube and 3.2 million on Instagram (where her bio reads “Just a sarcastic gal in NYC”).
Kalil was nominated for a 2023 Streamy Award for her collaboration with Jared Leto on comedy sketch “In this economy” (in which it’s revealed that Leto has been impersonating her cat in order to get free rent and food). She has also collaborated with the likes of the Jonas Brothers, Courteney Cox and Ed Sheeran. Her acting credits include 2023 film “The Weapon” and MTV’s “Ridiculousness.”
On the modeling front, she has appeared on the covers of magazines including Glamour and Grazia, shot with Yu Tsai and walked the runway at New York Fashion Week and Miami Swim Week. She has also worked with brands such as Hugo Boss, CeraVe, the NFL and L’Oreal.
Kalil is also an outspoken advocate for women’s representation in STEM and “continuously uses her platform to serve as inspiration to young women around the globe,” according to CAA. Kalil is managed by Haley Friedman at Made By All.
