Emmy Award-winning journalist and best-selling author Dr. Jennifer Ashton has signed with CAA.
Ashton was most recently ABC News’ chief health and medical correspondent. She also co-hosted “GMA3: What You Need to Know,” where she informed viewers about the latest breaking health and medical news.
Ashton was the only network medical correspondent who is also a double board-certified OB-GYN specializing in women’s health, and the only doctor with a national media platform holding a degree in nutrition and obesity medicine.
Ashton recently stepped away from ABC News to focus on her new women’s health and wellness media company, Ajenda. Ajenda, which launched in March with a newsletter, was inspired by Ashton’s commitment to addressing and improving women’s health issues, and the need for facts and honesty around menopause and weight management in today’s health conversation.

As founder and CEO, Ashton’s vision for Ajenda includes television production/development for women’s health-centric programming, live online clinics for education and symptom relief information for perimenopause and menopause and meal plans for women trying to manage their weight.
She is the recipient of a Columbia DuPont Award for Excellence in Journalism and was a 2024 John Jay Award honoree by her alma mater for her distinguished work with ABC. Ashton’s advocacy in women’s health has also earned her the 2023 Women Changing the World Award from the American Heart Association.
Ashton is also the author of several books, including “The Body Scoop for Girls,” “The Self Care Solution” and “The New Normal.”
Ashton continues to be represented by Sunshine Sachs Morgan & Lylis.
