Demi Lovato is celebrating Pride Month by designing a face mask with Richfresh’s Henry to celebrate and support the non-binary community.
The mask is included in a limited-edition four-pack of masks, available starting Monday, which also feature butterfly and UFO designs.
Lovato revealed in May that they identify as non-binary.
“Not only has my life been a journey for myself, I was also living for those on the other side of the cameras,” the “Dancing With Devil” hitmaker said in a video posted on Twitter on May 19. “Today is a day I’m so happy to share more of my life with you all — I am proud to let you know that I identify as non-binary and will officially be changing my pronouns to they/them moving forward.”
Twenty-five percent of the $49.50 price benefits The Center for Transyouth Health and Development at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
“Pride is a celebration of our community, and this year I wanted to think of a way to give back to the community,” Lovato said in a statement on Monday morning. “Working with Henry Mask to create these beautiful masks with designs that are meaningful to me has been the perfect combo of working to keep our community safe and helping the next generation. With proceeds going toward the Transyouth Health and Development at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, my hope is that we can help make the next generation’s gender journey one of compassion and make everyone feel welcomed and understood for being their true authentic selves!”
Designer Richfresh said, “We’re super excited to be doing this Pride collaboration with Demi Lovato. Their story of triumph and perseverance inspires us all. For this special pack, we are excited to be partnering with Demi and The Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles Center for Transyouth Health and Development in supporting their mission of helping young people and their families as they navigate their gender journey. We are honored to be doing this rockstar collab with Demi!”
