LAUNCH
PR Mums, a hybrid recruitment company, community hub and events platform, is set to launch on July 17. The company was set up by Emma Padden and a board of ‘founding mothers’ – including Freud’s director Alexandra Heybourne and Grayling’s director Bethany Pearson – to help women with their careers after having children.
The initiative is supported by dozens of leading PR agencies including Freud and Taylor Herring.
“PR Mums is not driven by a lofty and long-term vision, but instead by an immediate and urgent mission to address clear and present endemic industry challenges and to help increase number of women in senior and leadership positions. This is our first-year ambition, but we aim to expand beyond the industry and support all parents,” says Emma Padden.
