Banijay Asia has joined forces with India’s Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment (NGE) to develop original series and films, as well as adapt international hits for Indian audiences.
Banijay Asia (part of Banijay Entertainment) is led by CEO Deepak Dhar and NGE is helmed by veteran producer Sajid Nadiadwala. The alliance aims to create premium content for viewers in India and beyond.
Nadiadwala is known for franchises like “Housefull” and “Baaghi,” as well as critically acclaimed films such as “Chhichhore,” “Super 30” and “Highway.” Recent releases include “Chandu Champion” and “Satyaprem Ki Katha.” Coming up is “Housefull 5,” the latest instalment in the blockbuster comedy franchise starring Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh.

Banijay Asia has made its mark with adaptations like “The Night Manager” (Disney+ Hotstar) and “Call My Agent: Bollywood” (Netflix) as well as originals such as “Dahan” (Disney+ Hotstar) and “Undekhi” (SonyLIV). The company’s portfolio also includes popular non-scripted shows like “The Kapil Sharma Show” and “MTV Roadies.” Upcoming shows include Indian adaptations of “Monk,” “House” and “Suits.”

The Nadiadwala family has been in the film production business since 1955. Abdul Karim Nadiadwala followed by Abdul Gaffar Nadiadwala, Farruk Nadiadwala, Habib Nadiadwala and Suleman Nadiadwala, produced over 200 films. Sajid Nadiadwala’s debut as producer was “Zulm Ki Hukumat” (1992).
