Finally, fashion for the strange and unusual.
Warner Bros. is pulling out all the stops for the release of their “Beetlejuice” sequel, “Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice,” which will open at the Venice film festival in August.
The follow-up film, starring Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, Jenna Ortega, and Catherine O’Hara, reunites the old cast with a couple of new faces, including Willem Dafoe, Justin Theroux and Monica Bellucci. However, we’re most excited about the addition of four-time Oscar-winning costume designer Colleen Atwood, the current curator of Burton’s beloved whimsical goth look. Channeling the looks from the original costume designer on the 1988 film created by Aggie Guerard Rodgers Burton, Atwood (who most recently was spotted painting the stripes on the “Wednesday” cast’s school uniforms) will take over the costuming mantle for “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.” But before we can peep her newly updated ghostly styles for the recently deceased, she’s also launching a brand new “Beetlejuice” fashion line with Primark.

The Primark collection will launch on August 26 and promises to capture the “essence of the gothic aesthetic,” according to the official press release. We’re excited to exclusively release the first two looks from Primark which includes a new version of the iconic black and white suit and an updated take on the red wedding dress from Lydia Deetz’s pasts.
Primark will also have window displays inspired by the new film in five key cities in the UK, ROI and Italy.
Atwood has previously worked on “Sleepy Hollow,” “The Little Mermaid,” “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street” and “Chicago.”
