The “Clone High” revival has been canceled at Max.

The streamer had originally ordered two seasons of the animated series back in 2021. The first revival season debuted in 2023 with the second launching in February 2024.

“Although Max will not proceed with a third season of ‘Clone High,’ we will always cherish our creative partnership with Chris Miller, Phil Lord, Bill Lawrence, Erica Rivinoja, Erik Durbin, Judah Miller, Corey Campodonico, Alex Bulkley, and the team at MTV Entertainment Studios,” Max said in a statement. “The incredibly talented voice actors, writers, cast and crew provided the opportunity to thaw out these legendary characters.” ‘Clone High’ Revival Canceled After Two Seasons at Max

The show originally aired for one season on MTV between 2002 and 2003 before the Max revival was announced. Per the official logline, the followed, “a high school for clones of the greatest minds in history. Twenty years after the original experiment was put on ice, Joan, JFK, Abe, and Cleo have been thawed out to resume school with their new clone classmates – all while navigating a new set of cultural norms and overly dramatic teen relationships.”

The show featured a voice cast that included Will Forte, Nicole Sullivan, Christa Miller, Ayo Edebiri, Mitra Jouhari, Vicci Martinez, Kelvin Yu, Neil Casey, and Donald Faison. Series co-creators Phil Lord and Chris Miller also provided voices on the show.

Along with Lord & Miller, Bill Lawrence was also a co-creator and executive producer on the series. Erica Rivinoja, Erik Durbin, Judah Miller, ShadowMachine’s Corey Campodonico and Alex Bulkley, and Jeff Ingold of Lawrence’s Doozer Productions also executive produced. MTV Entertainment Studios produced the series.
