Indie sports media brand Jomboy Media has partnered with regional sports network Bally Sports to air its “Warehouse Games” franchise, which includes ball in play, floorball, blitzball and slapball. Deal reps the first time the games have hit a mainstream linear platform.

Jomboy will produce multiple one-hour episodes that will feature content from the 2023 and 2024 Warehouse Games. The series launches on Sunday, June 30, across Bally Sports’ 17 regional sports networks and its Bally Sports app.

“Two years ago, we bought a warehouse and crafted a plan to create something that nobody knew they wanted: high-production sports leagues with a backyard-BBQ feel,” said Jomboy Media founder Jimmy “Jomboy” O’Brien. “From the beginning, our mission was to dress up the friendly competition and banter of pick-up games in a TV-quality product. We invested in creating new games, new franchises, new personalities and new league formats. Now, we’re so excited that our hard work — and our community’s loyalty — have allowed us to reach this next milestone.”Jomboy Media Strikes Deal to Run Its ‘Warehouse Games’ on Bally Sports

The deal with Bally Sports also includes coverage of all Warehouse Games matchups featuring Jomboy Media personalities and special guests, including broadcaster Chris Rose, former MLB player Trevor Plouffe and cricket legend Daren Sammy, across two different competition formats (Franchise Series and Captains League).

The deal also includes MLB player and manager interviews from the “Chris Rose Rotation,” the baseball trivia game “RefGuess” and video-essay deep dives from Jolly Olive, which will post on Bally Sports+, Bally Sports’ direct to consumer platform within the Bally Sports app.

“Bally Sports speaks directly to millions of sports fans every day, and this is an incredible opportunity to showcase Warehouse Games to a new audience,” said Jomboy Media COO Courtney Hirsch. “This partnership demonstrates that Jomboy Media’s creators are experts in crafting captivating formats that resonate across digital, linear, and anywhere else sports fan watch video. We’re excited that Bally Sports recognizes Warehouse Games as programming that will thrive on linear TV, and even more excited about all the new Warehouse Games fans on the horizon.”
