PRODUCTION INSURANCE

Nest Productions has partnered with film and TV insurance firm MiB to offer competitive insurance rates and enhanced coverage for indie producers. The scheme provides consistent coverage across Nest and partner productions, featuring pre-agreed rates regardless of budget size and production risk management support throughout the process.

Benefits include out-of-hours contact, simplified insurance procedures, and optional employee assistance programs. The initiative aims to give small to mid-sized independents access to rates typically reserved for larger entities, potentially freeing up funds for development and production.

Nest Productions’ co-founders Stew Batt and Derek Drennan emphasized the importance of tailored insurance consultancy for indies. MiB Insurance’s Dan Woods highlighted the partnership’s goal to democratize insurance access and demystify the process for producers at all career stages.
