“Crime Exposé” has been cleared via straight barter deals to Fox stations in major markets including WNYW/WWOR New York, KTTV/KCOP Los Angeles and WFLD/WPWR Chicago. Other Fox clearances include stations in Dallas, San Francisco, Seattle, Phoenix, Washington D.C., Orlando, Minneapolis and Houston. “Crime Exposé” will also air on Sinclair stations in 52 markets, and has also been sold to stations from groups including Nexstar, CBS, Gray, Tegna, Scripps, Mission, Imagicomm and Cox.

According to the show descriptor, “‘Crime Exposé’ tells the story of one murder per episode and takes the audience through all aspects of the crime, the investigation, and the solving of each case through interviews with the victim’s family, witnesses, actual court records and the law enforcement officials involved in each case. Each episode will end with the Safety Spotlight, a brief informative safety-tip that follows up on each day’s story delivered by the series’ own law enforcement safety contributor.”

“Finally bringing daily original true crime to firstrun syndication always made sense knowing the audience was there,” Sternberg said. “And to have our host, Nancy O’ Dell, beloved in syndication, and who started as an investigative reporter, completed the puzzle.”

O’Dell’s other credits include “Access Hollywood.” She departed “ET” in 2019 after nearly nine years.
