Las Vegas-based art and music festival Life is Beautiful will shift to a new format that aims to turn Sin City’s downtown into a “massive dance party.”
Festival organizers on Tuesday unveiled plans for A Big Beautiful Block Party, described as a two-day “celebration of the culture, ideals and evolution of Downtown Las Vegas.” It’s set for Sept. 27-28.
The EDM-focused block party format is designed to offer a more intimate experience than past iterations of the festival which included overlapping musical sets and multiple stages. The plan promises to transform Downtown Las Vegas into “a massive dance party” with musical performances scheduled from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. both days.
