John Leguizamo is on board to return for a second season of “The Green Veil,” which has been renewed by new independent, ad-supported streamer The Network. According to the outlet, Leguizamo and the rest of the Season 1 cast will be back as the show picks up between 10 and 15 years later, “amidst the women’s rights movement and the occupation of Alcatraz by Native Americans in 1969.”
The show’s first season, which consisted of eight 22-minute episodes, was set in the 1950s. “The Green Veil” takes on the history of oppression in America — and in particular, atrocities committed against the Indigenous community. Leguizamo plays a brutal FBI agent,“tasked with an unraveling secret mission that threatens to expose deeper secrets.”
