“Community” star Yvette Nicole Brown has been added to the list of Season 2 guest stars on Paramount+‘s “Frasier” revival. PvNew has learned that Brown will appear as the sister to Olivia, the character played by Toks Olagundoye.
Brown’s character, Monica, has been referenced several times on the show by Olivia as her sibling rival, but viewers haven’t met her until now. Monica is described as “part haughty professor, part Nancy Drew, the brilliant, biting, and delightfully deadpan Monica is Olivia’s perfect older sister. She has everything Olivia has and everything Olivia wants – and never misses a chance to remind her.”
“We are thrilled to be graced with the comedic gifts of Yvette Nicole Brown. Her work is effervescent, deftly balancing humor and heart. She is just a delight,” said executive producers/co-showrunners Chris Harris and Joe Cristalli in a joint statement.
