In true glam goth spirit, Taylor Momsen of the American rock bandthe Pretty Reckless was bit by a bat as she was performing the band’s song “Witches Burn” in Sevilla, Spain. The band is touring as a supporting act for the European leg of AC/DC‘s “Power Up” trek.
Momsen uploaded footage of her encounter with a flying bat on Friday morning, and in the caption she wrote, “So…ROCK AND ROLL MOMENT…in Sevilla Wednesday during “Witches Burn” of all songs… a BAT flew onto me and clung to my leg.”
In the video shared by Momsen, she appears to be unaware of the critter hanging on the side of her short slip dress as fans are pointing to it, trying to catch her attention.
“In the moment I was performing and had no idea until the incredible crowd kept screaming and pointing,” Momsen wrote. In the footage, you can hear Momsen say, “I must really be a witch.” In the caption of her post, she continues, “He was cute, but yes he bit me…so rabies shots for the next two weeks. thanks to all the staff at the hospital who dubbed me #batgirl after seeing it on the local news that morning…more footage to come…that’s one for the books!!!! @acdc #pwrup #BATGIRL.”

The Pretty Reckless has been supporting AC/DC on the hard rock band’s spring and summer dates. Momsen and her bandmates also opened for The Rolling Stones earlier this month in Las Vegas.
AC/DC’s “Power Up” tour will run through August, hitting the Netherlands, Germany, Austria and Switzerland before stopping at London’s Wembley Stadium for shows on July 3 and 7, then moving on to other parts of Europe.
