The Roast of Tom Brady” was the most-watched TV title on Netflix during the week of May 6, and the second-most-watched title overall.

The special, which originally streamed live during the Netflix Is a Joke comedy fest, hit 13.8 million views during the May 6-12 viewing window, a steep increase from the 2 million views that made it the No. 6 English-language TV title the week before, during which it was only available for the weekend. Also recorded live during the festival, Katt Williams’ stand-up special “Woke Foke” held onto its No. 4 position for the second week in a row, increasing slightly from 4 million to 4.3 million views.

On the movies chart, the Brooke Shields-led “Mother of the Bride” quickly dethroned “Unfrosted” in the top position with a strong 26.7 million views — also outpacing the Brady roast. Jerry Seinfeld’s movie followed with 8.8 million views in its first full week of availability.

But perhaps most notable was “Shrek‘s” jump to the No. 3 position in its first full week after being re-added to Netflix, as the popular DreamWorks movie left the service for Peacock in 2022 before moving back on May 1. “Shrek” debuted with 4.7 million views in its first five days of availability, then rose to 8.5 million views in its second week on the chart — though this marks its ninth Top 10 week overall, inclusive of the period before it was removed from Netflix.

Back on the English-language TV chart, “Baby Reindeer” continued its hot streak, finally dipping down No. 2 with 11.4 million views after three weeks on top. It was followed by “A Man in Full,” which nabbed 6.7 million views in its first full week of availability, a slight increase from its 6.3 million debut the week prior.

The Irish dark comedy series “Bodkin” debuted with 3.3 million views in its first four days on Netflix, landing in fifth place and followed by the second week of “Selling the O.C.” (2.7 million views) and the third week of “Dead Boy Detectives” (1.8 million views).

As fans prepare for the Season 3 premiere of “Bridgerton” on May 16, they’ve gone back to rewatch Seasons 1 and 2 — which took the eighth and ninth place positions with 1.7 million and 1.4 million views, respectively.

At No. 10 was “The Gentlemen,” which tied “Bridgerton” Season 2 with 1.4 million views in its 10th week on the chart.

See Netflix’s Top 10 lists for the week of May 6-12 below. The lists begin with English-language series and are followed by non-English-language TV shows, English-language movies, and then non-English-language movies.
