Shane Gillis‘ comedy series “Tires” has been renewed for Season 2 at Netflix, PvNew has learned.
The announcement comes just ahead of the show’s Netflix premiere, which is set for May 23. The second season of the series will debut in 2025.
Gillis self-financed the six-episode first season of “Tires,” with Netflix acquiring the show as part of a deal that included him getting another stand up special at the streamer. That special is also expected to debut in 2025.
The official description of the series states, “Will (Steven Gerben), the nervous and unqualified heir to an auto repair chain, attempts to turn his father’s business around despite constant torture from his cousin and now employee, Shane (Gillis).”
