Jessica Henwick (“Glass Onion”) and Alisha Weir (“Abigail”) have been tapped for new animated feature “The Land of Sometimes.”

They will join “Star Wars” icon Ewan McGregor and “The Crown” star Helena Bonham Carter on the project, which also features one of the final performances from the late “Monty Python” alum Terry Jones.

The film, which is repped by Kaleidoscope Film Distribution for global sales, is set to be shown to buyers in Cannes next week with director Leon Joosen (“The Little Mermaid”) on hand to introduce the project.

“Be careful what you wish for!” reads the logline. “Twins Alfie and Elise get more than they bargained for when the Wish Collector takes them to an island full of wonder, with ever-changing seasons. They face a mechanical foe, fantastical creatures and a truth that shines brighter than any wish: the power of family.”

The film, from Two Daughters Entertainment, is currently in production in the U.K. with Cosmo-Giantwheel Animation Studios CEO Somu Mohapatra heading the animation. It is based on an original audiobook by Francesca Longrigg with a screenplay by Tony Nottage. Nottage is also a producer.

Bonnie Arnold (“How to Train Your Dragon”) and Alan Yentob (“Billy Elliot”) are exec producing alongside Two Daughters CEO James Reatchlous and managing director Simon Bobin. Kaleidoscope Film Distribution CEO Spencer Pollard is also exec producing.

Two Daughters Entertainment are known for their animated series “Moley,” which features the vocal talents of Warwick Davis, Stanley Tucci and Gemma Arterton. “The Land of Sometimes” is the company’s first feature-length animation.

“We’re delighted to welcome the extremely talented and versatile Alisha Weir and Jessica Henwick to ‘The Land of Sometimes,” said Nottage. “Both actresses have had considerable success in their young careers and bring a vibrant energy to this project. They join a dream cast as we’re lucky to have the remarkable Ewan McGregor and Helena Bonham Carter already on board with the late Terry Jones lending his voice. We can’t wait for audiences to experience this epic animated adventure.”

Weir is repped by Maureen V Ward Talent Agency and CAA, Henwick by Sue Terry Voices, McGregor by UTA, Yakety Yak, Narrative and Sloane, Offer, Weber & Dern and Bonham Carter by Conway van Gelder Grant.
