Netflix‘s popular thriller series “The Night Agent” has revealed the actors rounding out its Season 2 guest cast.
Marwan Kenzari, Elise Kibler and Dikran Tulaine join returning series leads Gabriel Basso and Luciane Buchanan. Additional previously announced cast members include Amanda Warren, Arienne Mandi, Louis Herthum, Berto colon, Brittany Snow, Teddy Sears, Michael Malarkey, Keon Alexander, Navid Negahban and Rob Heaps.
The official description for the series reads, “based on the novel by Matthew Quirk, ‘The Night Agent’ is a sophisticated, character-based, action-thriller centering on a low level FBI Agent who works in the basement of the White House, manning a phone that never rings — until the night that it does, propelling him into a fast moving and dangerous conspiracy that ultimately leads all the way to the Oval Office.”
In Season 2, Kenzari plays Reza, whose character description reads, “A decorated soldier, court marshalled for another man’s crime, Reza was given the opportunity to be a night agent.Fiercely intelligent, with a wry sense of humor and a trigger temper, he doesn’t hesitate to become violent or lethal when backed into a corner.”
Kibler will portray Sloane, “A glamorous British socialite, smart, savvy, glib; Sloane is the girlfriend of the wealthy Tomás Bala. Sloane knows how toxic Tomás’ family is and tries to convince him to break ties.”
Finally, Tulaine plays Viktor, whose character summary reveals, “A smart, dangerous and manipulative man, Viktor was once the leader of his country, but has since been convicted of war crimes.”
Shawn Ryan (“The Shield,” “S.W.A.T.”) serves as creator, showrunner and executive producer for “The Night Agent.” Additional executive producers include David Beaubaire, Seth Gordon, Julia Gunn, Marney Hochman, Paul Neinstein, William Sherak, Nicole Tossou, James Vanderbilt, Paul Bernard and Munis Rashid.
Sony Pictures Television produces “The Night Agent.” Production for Season 2 is currently underway.
