Danna Paola, Sebastián Yatra and More to Host 2023 Latin Grammys

Mexican pop singer Danna Paola and Colombian singer Sebastián Yatra, along with actresses Roselyn Sánchez and Paz Vega, will be hosting the 24th Annual Latin Grammy Awards in Spain later this November.

After winning big for his 2022 LP “Dharma” at last year‘s awards, Yatra is once again up for a Latin Grammy, this time in the best pop song category for “Contigo,” featuring Pablo Alborán. Also, previously nominated for a Latin Grammy, singer, songwriter and actress Paola makes her debut as a host for the awards show this year along with previous nominee Sánchez returns for the sixth time. International actress Vega returns for a second time after hosting the 2019 show.

The Latin Recording Academy announced performers for the Nov. 16 ceremony earlier this week, tapping Maria Becerra, Bizarrap andFeid, along with singer-songwriters Kany García, Carin León,Christian Nodal,Rauw Alejandroand Alejandro Sanz. Additional performers for the awards show will be announced at a later date.

Songwriter-producer Édgar Barrera leads the nominations list with 13 recognitions, including four nominations in the top general categories. He’s up for record of the year (“La Fórmula” by Maluma and Marc Anthony), album (“De Adentro Pa Afuera” by Camilo) of the year and has two songs nominated for song of the year (“NASA” by Camilo feat. Alejandro Sanz and “Un X100to” by Grupo Frontera feat. Bad Bunny). This year, the Latin Recording Academy will also honor the multi-lingual Italian performer Laura Pausini as Person of the Year for her decades-long career as a multifaceted artist and for her social justice efforts.

The 24th Annual Latin Grammy Awards will be broadcast from the Conference and Exhibition Centre (FIBES) at 8 p.m. ET (7 p.m. CT) on Univision, UniMás and Galavisión in the U.S., and at 10:30 p.m. CET on Radiotelevisión Española (RTVE) in Spain.
