Adele has announced rescheduled dates for her “Weekends With Adele” Las Vegas residency, which was abruptly postponed the day before it was scheduled to begin in January. The new dates — including one on Christmas Eve — will take place at the Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas and begin November 18; they are listed below. In addition to the 24 rescheduled shows, 8 new shows have also been announced. The residency will now run through March 25, 2023.
A select number of tickets will be available across all 32 performances. There will be two opportunities to purchase tickets for these shows. Access will be limited with priority given to fans who held tickets for the original show dates or had previously registered and been waitlisted for the “Weekends With Adele” Verified Fan Presale. Eligible fans will receive an email invitation from Ticketmaster on Wednesday, August 3. To learn more visit: https://blog.ticketmaster/adele-vegas.
“Words can’t explain how ecstatic I am to finally be able to announce these rescheduled shows. I truly was heartbroken to have to cancel them,” she wrote in an Instagram message posted Monday. “But after what feels like an eternity of figuring out logistics for the show that I really want to deliver, and knowing it can happen, I’m more excited than ever! Now I know for some of you it was a horrible decision on my part, and I will always be sorry for that, but I promise you it was the right one. To be with you in such an intimate space every week has been what I’ve most been looking forward to and I’m going to give you the absolute best of me.”
Thank you for your patience, I love you ♥️ Adele.”
The announcement follows the singer’s massive concerts in London’s Hyde Park early this month, and more than six months of silence regarding the residency, which she abruptly postponed her Las Vegas residency on Jan. 20, just a day before it was set to begin. While she initially blamed the delay on Covid within the show’s crew, multiple reports claimed she had not seen the actual production until just days before it was to begin and didn’t like it. Hundreds of fans who had traveled from all across the world suddenly were told there was no show; Adele Facetimed with some of them in the hours after her tearful announcement.

Adele addressed the postponement of her Las Vegas residency in February in a pre-recorded interview on Britain’s “Graham Norton Show.”
“I tried my hardest and really thought I would be able to pull something together in time,” Adele said. She seemed to lend credence toreports that the show was called off over creative differenceswith designer Esmeralda Devlin and the venue, Caesars Palace, rather than crew members testing positive for Covid-19, as she’d originally stated.
“I regret that I kept going until that late in the day. It would have been a really half-assed show and I can’t do that,” she said. “People will see straight through me up on the stage and know I didn’t want to be doing it. I’ve never done anything like that in my life and I’m not going to start now.
“We are now working our asses off, but I don’t want to announce a new set of dates until I know everything will definitely be ready,” she said. “The sooner I can announce the better, but I just can’t in case we are not ready in time.
“It is absolutely 100% happening this year. It has to happen this year because I’ve got plans for next year. Imagine if I have to cancel because I am having a baby!”
