You can soon hear the “Sound of Freedom” from home. The film, which made its theatrical debut in July, is now available to stream on Prime Video following digital and physical releases throughout October and November.

Angel Studios, the Angel investor-backed studio behind the film, began an exclusive viewing window for the film on Oct. 13 via the Angel Studios app, followed by digital purchase on Nov. 3.

DVDs and Blu-rays became available on Nov. 14 at shop.angel,plus Walmart, Amazon, and other major retailers, while digital rental (TVOD) became available on Dec. 15.

“The Angel Guild selected and made ‘Sound of Freedom’ so successful theatrically. They decide what projects are green-lit and are presented to audiences,” Jared Geesey, chief distribution officer at Angel Studios, said in a statement. “We are honored to give them exclusive early access to this film prior to its wider release through the world’s leading digital platforms and retailers.”

The religious thriller, written and directed by Alejandro Monteverde, is based on the true story of Tim Ballard (“The Passion of the Christ” actorJim Caviezel), a former government agent who embarks on a mission to rescue children from sex traffickers in Colombia. Mira Sorvino and Bill Camp co-star.

“Sound of Freedom” stirred up some controversy upon its initial release, with detractors accusing the film of embellishing the reality of child exploitation and stoking QAnon conspiracy theories.Rolling Stone called “Sound of Freedom”a “QAnon-tinged thriller,” one that is designed to “appeal to the conscience of a conspiracy-addled boomer.”

However, moviegoers were enthusiastic, bestowing the film an “A+” CinemaScore and a 100% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. Critics have been mostly positive toward the movie, which has a 76% on Rotten Tomatoes.PvNewchief film critic Owen Gleibermancalled “Sound of Freedom” a “compelling movie that shines an authentic light on one of the crucial criminal horrors of our time, one that Hollywood has mostly shied away from.”
