Any Boygenius head knows that the three beloved members — Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers and Lucy Dacus — have matching tooth tattoos, in reference to the band’s first EP called “Bite the Hand.” Those tattoos then became the inspiration for their matching lapel pins of the same motif, which they had designed by Catbird and have since become an iconic part of their stage uniforms. Now, Boygenius has teamed up with the New York-based jewelry brand on a limited-edition collection so that their fans can match them on the road.
Priced from $74, the collection features three pieces: a pin, a stud and a charm, all featuring the design inspired by, and resembling, the boys’ signature tooth tattoos. All three pieces will be available in Catbird’s signature 14k recycled gold or silver.

“That song is about biting the hand that feeds you, aka not feeling beholden to people that give you money,” she continued. “:Your fans support you, and we’re all really thankful—but the three of us can really easily slip into this idea that in order to respect the fans, you need to do what they want. I don’t think that’s healthy at all.”
In honor of Catbird’s collaboration withBoygenius, the Catbird Giving Fund will also make a donation of $20,000 to their longstanding partner, National Center for Transgender Equality.
