SkyShowtime, the European streaming home to releases from Paramount and Universal, has revealed its upcoming film and TV slate through the rest of the year, including “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” and “Poker Face.”

Just one year since the streaming service’s launch in the Nordics and six months since its rollout in 20 more European markets, SkyShowtime is on track to have 50% of this year’s box office on the platform.

“Less than a year since our launch, SkyShowtime boasts an impressive line-up of amazing content,” SkyShowtime CEO Monty Sarhan said in a statement. “From the latest Hollywood hits and exclusive global series to our local originals, SkyShowtime offers subscribers across Europe an incredible selection of the world’s best entertainment. And with even more spectacular content to come in 2024, SkyShowtime will continue to deliver great entertainment at a great price.”

SkyShowtime is currently available in Albania, Andorra, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, Hungary, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Norway, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.

“Codename: Annika” (Finnish-Swedish SkyShowtime Original series) — Sept. 30

  • The story revolves around Finnish art fraud investigator, Emma, who goes undercover to infiltrate an auction house in Stockholm and investigate the firm’s connection to a notorious money launderer known as Blanko.

“The Family Stallone” — Oct. 2

  • The new docuseries starring Sylvester Stallone, his wife Jennifer Flavin Stallone and three daughters Sophia, Sistine and Scarlet, offers a seat at the table of one of Hollywood’s most famous families.

“Fleeting Lies” (Spanish SkyShowtime Original series) — Oct. 9

  • Inspired by an actual U.S. Military program, the series follows the life of Joe (Zoe Saldaña) while she attempts to balance her personal and professional life as the tip of the CIA’s spear in the war on terror. The Lioness Program, overseen by Kaitlyn Meade (Nicole Kidman) and Donald Westfield (Michael Kelly), enlists an aggressive Marine Raider named Cruz (Laysla De Oliveira) to operate undercover alongside Joe among the power brokers of State terrorism in the CIA’s efforts to thwart the next 9/11.

“Dreamland” — Nov. 21

  • A big-hearted drama about secrets, lies, loves and aspirations within a family of four sisters. Set in the sun-drenched British seaside town of Margate, it is a dark comedic exploration of multi-generational female relationships, and their (somewhat dysfunctional) family dynamics.

“Frasier” — November

  • Starring and executive produced by Kelsey Grammer, the new series follows Frasier Crane (Grammer) in the next chapter of his life as he returns to Boston, Mass. with new challenges to face, new relationships to forge and an old dream or two to finally fulfill.

“Renfield” — November

  • Themodern monster tale tells the story of the loyal but tortured servant to Dracula, history’s most narcissistic boss.The film stars Nicholas Hoult in the title role, Awkwafina, Shohreh Aghdashloo and Oscar winner Nicolas Cage as Dracula.

“Lawmen: Bass Reeves” — December

  • A new anthology series executive produced by Oscar nominee Taylor Sheridan and Emmy nominee David Oyelowo. Starring Oyelowo, Lauren E. Banks, Demi Singleton, Forrest Goodluck, Barry Pepper, Donald Sutherland and Dennis Quaid, the eight-episode season will uncover the untold story of the most legendary lawman in the Old West: Bass Reeves (Oyelowo).

“Transformers: Rise of the Beasts” — December
