An in conversation event with Paramount Global executives Pam Kaufman, president and CEO of international markets and global consumer products and experiences, and Lisa Kramer, president of international TV licensing, Paramount Global Content Distribution, has been added to the NATPE Global conference.
Jens Richter, Fremantle’s CEO of commercial and international and Paulo Koelle, head of Prime Video Latin America, Amazon Studios have also joined the speaker lineup. ASIAN ADAPTATIONS
DistributorAll3MediaInternational and Indonesian production house Falcon Pictures are collaborating for the first time in a deal that will see three scripted formats adapted for the territory. Indonesian versions of Two Brothers Pictures’ thrillers“Liar”and“Cheat,” and mystery thriller“The Cry”from Synchronicity, are currently in development. This is All3Media’s first scripted format deal in Indonesia.
Already adapted in 12 territories,“Liar”tells the story of a night that changes two people’s lives forever, while “Cheat,” already adapted in India, centers on a seemingly open-and-shut case of academic deception that quickly spirals out of control. Both titles were originally produced for ITV U.K.“The Cry,”based on Helen Fitzgerald’s best-selling book of the same name, was originally made for BBC One, starred Jenna Coleman and Ewen Leslie, was nominated for an International Emmy, and sold in 165 territories.
APPOINTMENTS
ITV Studios Netherlands has appointed Laurens Woldberg as managing director, reporting into Lisa Perrin, managing director, international production, ITV Studios, London. Woldberg joins from Dutch public broadcaster, KRO-NCRV where he was creative director of fiction and non-fiction since 2022, overseeing commissioning editors, third-party produced series, as well as in-house format development and sales. His producer credits include “Oogappels” (“Loved Ones”), “Love Island” Netherlands and Belgium, “Het Perfecte Plaatje” (“The Perfect Picture”), “Oh Wat Een Jaar” (“A Year to Remember”) and “Married at First Sight.”

Nimesh Kataria will be joining BritBox International as CFO from April 2024. Kataria joins from Warner Bros Discovery, where he was group VP finance, international sport. Alana McGaughey joins as VP global PR and communications. McGaughey joins from Netflix.
The company is also creating a new global editorial team. based out of New York, Robert Schildhouse, general manager for BritBox’s largest market, North America, will now also be taking on the additional role of global group editorial, responsible for editorial and programming strategy. London based Kerry Ball will take on the new role ofchief commercial and strategy officer, with increased focus on strategy and research alongside her commercial and business development remit.
