Bill Burr’s directorial debut “Old Dads” debuted on the Netflix Top 10 list as the streamer’s most-watched title during the Oct. 16-22 viewing window. After three days of availability, the film recorded 13.3 million views. Coming in second on the English-Language films list is “The Devil on Trial” documentary, which opened on Oct. 17, and recorded 8 million views.
“The Fall of the House of Usher” jumped to first place on the English-Language TV list with 7.9 million views in its first full week of availability, dethroning David and Victoria Beckham’s docuseries. “Beckham” moved to No. 2 on the list with 6.9 million views.
The Edgar Allen Poe-inspired limited series originally debuted in second place on the English-Language TV chart during the Oct.9-15 viewing window as it conjured up 6.3 million total views in its first four days of availability. Hailing from “The Haunting of Hill House” creator Mike Flanagan the chilling limited series was undoubtedly pushed by the spooky season as viewers watched the Usher family dynasty rise and crumble.
Elsewhere on the English-Language TV chart is “Big Mouth” Season 7, which cracked the list following its Oct. 20 premiere at No. 7 with 1.6 million total views. Also making an appearance for the first time on the list is “Bodies” and “I Woke Up a Vampire,” taking the third (5.5 million views) and fourth (3.4 million views) places on the chart, respectively.
After five weeks on the chart, “Sex Education” Season 4 placed fifth in the rankings with 2.6 million total views, putting it just above “Love is Blind” Season 5, which recorded 1.8 million total views — that’s a drop compared to the previous week’s figures and it comes after Netflix tallied the viewership figures for the Season 5 reunion, which has been available for a full week at the time of this report.
“One Piece” dropped in the rankings again, falling to eighth place this week with 1.4 million views. Still, it’s an impressive feat the live-action anime series has managed to remain among the top 10 titles in its seventh week of availability. It’s no wonder why Netflix quickly renewed the series for Season 2.
Rounding out the bottom of the chart is “Cocomelon” Season 8 and Season 1, which landed in ninth and 10th place with 1.3 million and 1.2 million views, respectively.
