Lifetime announced that the original movie “Harry & Meghan: Escaping the Palace” will premiere on Sept. 6 at 8 p.m.

Marking the third chapter in Lifetime’s “Harry & Meghan” franchise, the film will explore what really happened inside the palace that drove Harry (Jordan Dean) and Meghan (Sydney Morton) to leave everything behind in order to make a future for themselves and their son Archie.

“Harry & Meghan: Escaping the Palace” will detail Meghan’s growing isolation and sadness, their disappointment in “The Firm” for not defending them against the press’s attacks and Harry’s fear that he would not be able to protect his wife and son from the same forces that may have contributed to his mother’s untimely death.

Leading up to the premiere on Sept. 6, Lifetime will present encore airings of “William & Kate” at 1 p.m., “Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance” at 3 p.m. and “Harry & Meghan: Becoming Royal” at 5:30 p.m.

Merideth Finn and Michele Weiss serve as executive producers, while Menhaj Huda will direct the film from a script by Scarlett Lacey.

ABC announced its fall premiere dates for the upcoming 2021-2022 season. The fall season will kick off with the 30th season of “Dancing with the Stars” on Sept. 20. at 8 p.m. Later that week, Sept. 22 will mark the return of “The Goldbergs” (8 p.m.), “The Conners” (9 p.m.), “Home Economics” (9:31 p.m.) and “A Million Little Things” (10 p.m.) and the premiere of the reimagined “The Wonder Years” at 8:30 p.m. “Big Sky” (10:01 p.m.) joins the Thursday lineup of “Station 19” (8 p.m.) and “Grey’s Anatomy” (9 p.m.) on Sept. 30. ABC’s other medical drama, “The Good Doctor,” will return Sept. 27 at 10 p.m. ABC’s reality programming will make a comeback a bit later in the fall with “The Bachelorette” premiering on Oct. 19 at 8 p.m. That night, the premiere of new drama series “Queens” will follow at 10:01 p.m. Competition fun will commence with the return on Sept. 26 with “Celebrity Wheel of Fortune” at 8 p.m., followed by “Supermarket Sweep” at 9 p.m. The night ends with “The Rookie” at 10 p.m. and “AFV” will join the Sunday lineup on Oct. 3 at 7 p.m. On Oct. 8, “Shark Tank” (8 p.m.) and ABC News’ “20/20” (9 p.m.) will return.

Amazon Prime Video released a trailer for Season 2 of “Modern Love,” which launches Aug. 13 on the streamer. The anthology will feature eight new episodes showcasing individual stories about relationships, connections, betrayals and revelations. HBO Max released the trailer for Sesame Workshop docuseries “Through Our Eyes.” Produced by the nonprofit behind “Sesame Street,” the four-parter spotlights the lives of children who experience some of the most challenging issues facing families today: homelessness, climate change, incarceration and being part of a veteran family. “Through Our Eyes” is intended to be a co-viewing experience for adults and kids ages 9 and older. Paramount Plus will premiere Madonna‘s new documentary, “Madame X,” on Oct. 8. From MTV Entertainment Studios and directors Ricardo Gomes and SKNX, “Madame X” captures Madonna’s performance as her Madame X persona in Lisbon, Portugal. (Madame X is a secret agent traveling around the world, changing identities, fighting for freedom and brining light to dark places). The documentary celebrates the 2019 album of the same name and features new music, fan-favorite hits and 48 on-stage performers. Watch the teaser below.

LATE NIGHT

“The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” will have on Mark Wahlberg, Mark Hamill and John Mayer, while Lorde and Hugh Jackman will appear on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.” Alan Cumming Damian Lillard and Charlie Benante will be on “Late Night with Seth Meyers.”
